USING SNAP/EBT
AT THE FARMERS MARKET

If you or someone you know is a recipient of SNAP/EBT, you can make the most of your benefits and get fresh, high quality products at the Adams County Farmers Market thanks to our SNAP Double Dollars program. It’s really easy – and really fun! Just follow the steps below.

  1. Bring your EBT card to the main farmers market booth. Staff at the market booth will process your EBT card, and can answer any other questions you may have.

  2. Get your tokens. After your EBT card is processed, market staff will give you wooden tokens equaling $1 each. The best part is, for every dollar you charge to your EBT card you’ll receive $2 in market tokens! In other words, if you charge $10 to your EBT card you’ll receive $20 worth of tokens. The market can double up to $25 per Saturday for a total of $50.

  3. Spend your tokens. You can spend your market tokens on any qualifying product at the Adams County Farmers Market!
